Monza Open 2022, sporting show business…. faster with sport…

A unique and innovative project, which opens up new possibilities for the world of show business combined with sport and which reinforces the “Faster with Sport” concept supported by CC LAB.

Monza Open 2022 is a new sport business idea, which came from the aim of creating a unique event at the purpose built Monza racetrack, the fastest international racing circuit on the world championship scene, located in the largest fenced city park in Europe.

This event sees the conception, design and organisation of an ATP 250 Series Tennis Tournament on a red clay playing surface, with a central field built on the track straight, taking advantage of the central stands and with temporary stands erected at the sides.

The park paddock spaces will be used to build a further 5 tennis courts and the Hospitality village.

With know-how gained in the past in the tennis sector and having fully explored the feasibility of transforming the idea into a concrete project, CC LAB identified the right partners in the Lombardy Region, the Province of Brianza, the city of Monza and the Autodrome to breathe life into this new large-scale project.

The objective is to put together a unique tournament of its kind for Italy, which ranks among the top-level tennis events.

On the strength of its innovative idea, CC LAB, decided to present the project to Lombardy’s local and regional institutions, to build a network and system together.

The idea to create something unique, remarkable and original with tennis as the driving sport, which has a huge following of fans, was immediately taken up by the Lombardy institutions, which recognised the winning idea in CC LAB’s intuition.

Despite the ATP’s choice to assign the budding ATP 250 grass tournament to Majorca rather than Monza, the dream of seeing the best Italian and international tennis players on the court in such a unique setting as the Monza racetrack, has not been forgotten.

CC LAB has continued to strongly pursue the original idea and has adapted it to allow the Monza Open to take a new direction, with the proposal of red clay surface as the highlight of a new tournament.

Bringing top Italian tennis players to a tournament held at the Monza racetrack is one of the goals that CC LAB has been working tirelessly to achieve and they have been strongly supported by institutions and companies from the Brianza territory, who are fully committed to the project.

CC LAB continues its work to build an innovative and highly appealing tennis event, with robust green credentials that deal with issues related to environmental sustainability, combined with the corporate social responsibilities of future partner companies in the project.

CC LAB has the skills to ensure all the necessary know-how is provided in terms of technical-sporting issues, overall event organisation and management, media relations, contractual agreements with partners and sponsors, coordination of marketing and communication activities and public relations, food & beverage organisation, ticketing and the management of commercial and television rights.

As holder of the intellectual property rights to the event, in addition to providing its know-how and technical skills, CC LAB may look to establishing partnerships with leading expert companies in the sector, outsourcing the provision of some services, as previously successfully done with the Mito Group, to ensure high levels of professionalism at the event and to guarantee great results.
